The value of some Tesco Clubcard points will be cut in June

If we shop at Tesco and collect Clubcard points there’s a change coming that means our points will be worth less.

Serious collectors will know that every point on our Clubcard is worth 1p to spend in Tesco. 

But a savvy way to use them is to swap them for vouchers to spend with Tesco’s partners. In this way we can get up to three times the value of the points we have.

This is changing from 14 June though. After this, we’ll only be able to get back twice the value of our points. So if we have something in mind to spend our points on, this is the time to do it.

It’s also a good time to search for lost or forgotten vouchers.

If we’re registered online, we can log into the Tesco Clubcard site. The ‘My Clubcard Account’ section will show us if we have any unspent vouchers.

Then we can either print them off or use the codes online.

Tesco’s Reward Partners are really varied. We can use our Clubcard vouchers to buy a railcard or a day out at places like Alton Towers. Restaurants like Bella Italia and Pizza Express are also on the list. And there are also deals for cinema, high-street shopping and magazine subscriptions.
