At Clean Slate, our mission is simple: to help you become better off. Whether you’re looking to get a handle on your money, find work or a better job, or get online for the first time, we’re here to help you take practical steps toward a more secure future.

Through our Quids in! initiative, you’ll have access to a whole range of free tools and support, including:

  • One-to-one sessions to help you set goals and take action
  • Easy-to-read magazines and helpful guides
  • Access to our Readers Club, which sends handy tips straight to your inbox
  • Interactive tools like our Future-Proof Finance Quiz, Job Readiness Quiz, Budget Planner and Benefits Calculator.

What We Offer You

We’ll work together through weekly check-ins, personalised guidance, and support between sessions if needed – by phone, text, or email. Everything is designed to fit around your goals and your life.

What We Ask of You

To make sure you get the most out of this support – and that we can offer the same to others – here are a few things we ask:

  • Stay in touch
    If things change or you can’t make an appointment, that’s totally understandable – life happens. Just let us know so we can offer your slot to someone else.
    If we try to contact you three times and don’t hear back, we’ll assume you don’t need our help right now – but you can always reconnect with us later.
  • Make time when you can
    If you miss three appointments in a row without getting in touch, we’ll pause your place on the programme.
    If you’re unwell or need a longer break, just let us know – we’ll hold your spot if the project’s still running when you’re ready to come back.
  • We’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy for any abusive or disrespectful behaviour towards our team – and that may mean we need to end our support if it happens.
  • To make sure everyone feels comfortable, we ask that personal views (such as political, religious or societal beliefs) aren’t part of our conversations. Our focus is on practical support that works for everyone.
