Helping people become more than better off!
We’re here to help people on low incomes take control of their money and future.
Quids in! is part of Clean Slate Training & Employment, a not-for-profit organisation trusted by local councils, Jobcentre Plus, landlords and others to support people through tough times.
What we offer
Since 2008, we’ve been sharing practical, easy-to-understand advice on benefits, budgeting, debt, work and getting online. What started as a magazine has grown into a wide range of digital resources, guides, monthly newsletters, workshops, drop-in support and one-to-one money guidance.
Digital resources
We believe financial advice should be engaging and fun, making it easier for everyone to improve their financial situation. On our site you’ll find:
- The latest money news that affects people on low incomes.
- Tips and tools to stretch your budget, boost your income and get online
- Free guides and resources on Universal Credit, employment and more

In-person and virtual support
Light touch support at a community space near you
In some areas, you’ll also find Quids In! Centres, offering drop-in services, workshops and one-to-one support. We involve people who know what it’s like to live on a low income, sharing their tips with other readers.
One-to-one money guidance over the phone
Quids in! is also funded to provide one-to-one money guidance, delivered by our money coaches over the phone. Each money guidance programme is a bit different, depending on the region we work in and what we are funded to do.
Our most popular programme is our 5-6 week money guidance programme. Clients referred to this programme will recieve a tailored action
Quids in! is funded by Councils, affordable housing providers and charitable grants. Visit the Clean Slate website and choose your region or landlord to see the help we can offer you.
