Quids in! is the money skills programme run by Clean Slate Training & Employment. Clean Slate is a not-for-profit social enterprise in business to help people on low incomes become better off. It helps people manage their money better, find work (or better paid work) and get online. We are not about charity or hand-outs but helping people help themselves. Our funding comes from contracts with local authorities and social landlords, trade income (selling Quids in! guides, for example) and support from grant-makers. Clean Slate runs a network of Quids In Centres.
Quids In Centres are spaces where we deliver free 3Bs money skills workshops plus one-to-one support, helping people on modest incomes become better off. Our teams can also help by phone or over emails. See our contact details below.
The service draws on our experience of the benefit system (including Universal Credit) and avoiding or overcoming debt. It refers to content and guidance published by Quids in! alongside independent support and training that is exclusive to our service.
We have Centres in Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wales and London (covering Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham).
