Changes to Pension Credit mean couples where one is over pension age and one is below could lose up to £7,000

Changes came in on 14th May but claims can be back-dated by up to three months. Money saving expert Martin Lewis told This Morning viewers that, as a rule of thumb, couples bringing in less than £200 a week could be eligible.

“If that’s you or someone you know, call the Pension Credit helpline,” he said.
