The disability payment of £150 is in addition to the recent £301 Cost of Living Payment
If we’re disabled and claiming certain disability benefits we’ll be in line for a new £150 Cost-of-Living Payment soon.
It’s on top of the £301 payment that people on certain benefits received between April and May.
To qualify for the £150 we’ll need to have been claiming one of the following in April this year: Attendance Allowance, Constant Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance (adult or child), PIP, Adult or Child Disability Payment (in Scotland), Armed Forces Independence Payment or War Pension Mobility Supplement.
So if we qualify, we should get the £150 payment between 20 June and 4 July.
Think we missed out on £301?
The first £301 government Cost of Living Payment should have been paid by 17 May. If we think we may have missed out we can now get in touch to see if there has been an error.
There will be three payments of this main Cost-of-Living payment, coming to a total of £900.
The first payment was made to those of us who were receiving Universal Credit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Pension Credit income-based JSA, income-based ESA or Income Support between 26 January and 25 February this year.

Unlike some other benefits, we didn’t have to do anything to get the Cost of Living Payment.
And the next payments, of £300 and £299, will be made in autumn and early 2024.
Payments to people on Tax Credits would have been made by HMRC. The others would have come from DWP.
Finally, to contact HMRC if we think we’ve missed out we can call on 0345 300 3900 or by using the online assistant on their website.
And we can report a missed payment to DWP on their website.
